In the spotlight: Pixie & Punk
Pixie & Punk was born out of a love of the imagination. When Tagore Ramoutar, dad of two’s eldest daughter wouldn’t eat her pasta, he reached into the depths of his dreams and found Eric Boyle the crocodile for a helping hand. And it worked!
Before he knew it, the characters in Tagore’s mind began to come to life. Eric the crocodile and Rufus the bear leaped onto the page, and then onto t-shirts, then bodysuits, then bags! From a simple spark of creativity and a desire to bring a giggle or three into his little girls’ lives, he had designed a whole world of charm and wonder.
zulily love Pixie and Punk because like them, we believe in the power of dreaming. Tagore wanted to bring a big smile to little faces and with a little can-do and a passion for the imagination, he achieved his goal. Its minds like his that make doing what we do at zulily not only easy-peasy, but a real pleasure.
